I have used Flickr a bit, but this time I tried some new features. I added the little butterflies to this picture using Flickr's Picnik. Groovy.

Thing 3 - RSS feeds

Previously I used Bloglines for RSS feeds. The problem was that I never signed into Bloglines, so it wasn't that useful to me. Having everything in Google is really convenient. Once I sign into Google I can see my feed reader and other Google features. I'm getting more comfortable with everything interacting with everything else.

Thing 2 - What is Library 2.0?

I'm excited to incorporate some new Internet 2.0 features into our regular resources and services. We are already seeing some progress - we showed a department how to use a wiki and they have found it very useful!

Thing 1 - Setting up my blog

The hardest part of this thing was coming up with a name! My title comes from a song on BNL's new children's album. If there are any other BNL fans out there in library land, send me a note!

My coworkers and I tried the original (Helene Blowers) 23 things last fall. Everything was new to me at that time, so I feel like I have a little knowledge going into this program. My original blog was in LiveJournal, but Blogger seems a bit easier to use. I'm looking forward to learning even more things this time around!
